California Avalanche Workshop @ LTCC
Backcountry explorers, wilderness leaders, ski resort employees and search & rescue personnel: prepare for a safe winter at the California Avalanche Workshop at Lake Tahoe Community College, Saturday Oct. 14 from 9am-5pm. This is a rare - and great! - opportunity to hear forecasters from all of the California avalanche centers speak and answer questions. In addition, ski guides, pro skiers, snow scientists, and avalanche survivors will present their findings. Share your knowledge, learn from the pros, and network to help save lives!
