South Lake Tahoe LibraryRenowned Photographer, Ian Ruhter, at the South Lake Tahoe Library

Photographer Ian Ruhter will be sharing his unique vision and photo process at the SLT Library. After a career in LA, Ian returned home to S Lake Tahoe in 2010 and built a custom camera inside a truck, enabling him to produce images eight feet wide. He used a 19^th century process called wet plate collodion. His book, The Lake, is the culmination of ten years  photographing the Tahoe area using this technique.
