Event Description:
Join the Friends of the Library as editor Riva Enteen introduces the just-released book, Follow the Money: Radio Voices for Peace and Justice. Follow the Money has been described as an "encyclopedia of resistance," a "book of hope," which illustrates how "the nation is bursting with movements." The book inspires action by ending with Marge Piercy’s poem “To be of use.”
The readings Riva has done in NY and the SF Bay Area have all generated stimulating discussion. Riva has lived in South Lake Tahoe, at the top of Ski Run Blvd. for six years, teaching skiing at Heavenly, kayaking at Kayak Tahoe, and running a "super host" B&B in her condo. She believes Tahoe is a piece of paradise.
