Event Description:
Snapshot Day is a citizen science event that takes place every May when volunteers fan out across the Truckee River Watershed to take water samples from creeks, streams and smaller lakes, as well as Lake Tahoe itself, to get a snapshot at one moment in time of the water quality of the Tahoe-Truckee watershed. Snapshot Day will be held on the same day for all regions. South Lake Tahoe volunteers will meet at Lake Tahoe Community College before heading out to sites. Prior registration is highly recommended.
