Based on a community survey last spring, the IVCBA Housing Committee is launching a Speaker Series, "Unlocking Housing in Incline Village". The first program in the series will feature Placemate, a program that offers incentives to landlords to convert short term to long-term rentals or to unlock new housing stock. Placemate is based in Truckee but has implemented the program in several locations. The evening will focus on using housing that is already built in Incline Village in a different way to accommodate people who work in the area but aren’t able to live here.
