Virtual Reality Studio
Experience virtual reality at the library. Each month we’ll feature a different educational or cultural VR experience that explores geography, science, art, history and more. After trying this month’s featured app, you can explore any of the other available VR experiences including games. VR Studio happens every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
For each VR Studio session there are 2 time slots for the Oculus GO, 2 time slots for the Oculus Quest, and 1 time slot for the HTC Vive.
Registration is required for this event. If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must register the participant and also be present to supervise their participation. The manufacturers of HTC Vive and Ocuclus virtual reality equipment do NOT recommend that children under age 13 use their VR headsets. Each VR system is used once and then is disinfected and stored until the next program. In alignment with current CDC and state guidelines, all library visitors age 2 and up are required to wear masks.
