Event Description:
Should access to voting be expanded or restricted? Should voters have more choices for where and when they vote including in person, by mail, and early voting? Can voter turnout be improved such as making Election Day a national holiday?
Whether you are in favor of or oppose these ideas, join the roundtable discussion as we discuss ways to improve our democracy and engage voters and elected officials. Guest experts include Professor John Duerk, PhD, Political Science, Western Nevada College; Professor Scott Parker, Truckee Meadows Community College; and Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar.
