Event Description:
First run in 2008, the Tahoe Rim Tour has become one of the Far West region’s premier cross-country ski races, with stunning scenery that can’t be beat. It is a fundraiser for the Far West Nordic Ski Education Association so you help support cross-country skiing in California and Nevada while enjoying the event.
The Tahoe Rim Tour is a unique point-to-point Nordic ski event that begins at North Tahoe High School (Tahoe XC trails) and ends at Northstar California XC Ski Center. There is one aid station at about halfway point. Lunch and awards at the finish. Buses available for return to North Tahoe High School. You are welcome to be serious, go fast, and do this as a race OR you can relax and do it as a supported tour.
