Carmen, shares her passion with the community by providing monthly guided hikes, and snowshoe trips, through our beautiful backyard of endless trail systems
Join us August 27th, 2016 at 9:00 AM to hike Ellis Peak
Directions: From Truckee take 89 south towards Tahoe City, turn right at the Tahoe City “Y” drive along the West Shore for about 4.5 miles to the turnoff marked “Kaspian & Blackwood Canyon”. We’ll meet here and car pool up to the actual trailhead. The hike is an Out-and-Back, approx. 5 miles total, elevation gain approx. 814 feet. The splendor of the northern Sierra is powerfully vivid when viewed from a perch atop the rocky ridge crested by the Ellis Peak Trail.
