Self-Care Therapeutic Yoga

A 3-week Series. Classes on Monday, November 28th & December 5th and 12th. 6-8pm. Take just one class, two or all three! Each class is completely unique!
Do you work hard and play harder? Are you overcommitted, overscheduled, and just plain overly stressed? Than THIS is FOR YOU!
Over the course of 3 weeks, we will address challenges/tightness/chronic holding patterns that accumulate in the hips/pelvis/low back, shoulders/neck/upper back, feet/legs/hands and wrists from our busy and often stress-filled lifestyles. Through gentle somatic movement, breathing techniques, and the use of various balls and blocks, you will learn LOTS of self-massage techniques, how to calm the nervous system from too much stress, unwind chronic holding patterns in the body and relaxation techniques to relax and focus the mind. All of these will help to decrease stress, pain and tension. Overall you will improve focus, bring peace to mind and body, and increase your body’s natural ability for healing. This is a feel good class for Every Body!
