Prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure with the arrival of the highly anticipated Team Whiskey Bonanza, one of the largest whiskey and outdoor sports events in the world, on March 30. This event, sponsored by Team Whiskey, Edgewood Tahoe, Mortgages for American, Beach Retreat & Lodge, Burger Me!, Bone Maniacs and others, will be a day filled with outdoors-oriented activities, music, vendors, films, food and, of course, the finest whiskey offerings – all set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Lake Tahoe.
From noon until 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, you are invited to explore your adventurous spirit at Team Whiskey Bonanza. There will be an array of activities, from archery, shooting and fishing instruction to kayak and golf simulations. Daring souls can take on the challenge of rodeo bull riding or scale the towering climbing walls. Vendors will have booths set up for shopping and information.
Fun for the Whole Family
Team Whiskey Bonanza isn't just for thrill-seekers; it's a celebration for the entire family. With complimentary admission for children ages 1 to 12 and a nominal fee of $20 for ages 13 to 18, the price of taking the family is affordable. The little ones will be entertained with a variety of family-friendly activities, including face painting, interactive games and more. Running throughout the day will be outdoor sports films in two different theaters. There will also be a DJ and country/rock bands all day, with The North 40 Band out of Sacramento will be headlining. Don't miss the line-dancing lessons from 2 to 5 p.m.
Indulge in Whiskey Heaven
No whiskey-centric event would be complete without a tantalizing selection of spirits, and Team Whiskey Bonanza delivers in style. The event's whiskey collection includes tastings from Team Whiskey, Heaven Hill Distillery, Evan Williams Bourbon, Widow Jane, Elijah Craig Bourbon and Larceny. Adult ticket holders (tickets start at $85) will have the opportunity to sample a curated collection of whiskey and mouthwatering food pairings. Plus, attendees will receive an exclusive Team Whiskey glass and a chic shopping bag to carry their treasures.
Supporting a Noble Cause
Beyond the thrill of adventure and the allure of whiskey, Team Whiskey Bonanza is dedicated to making a difference in the community. As a family-owned and operated business, Team Whiskey is committed to supporting those affected by cancer. The brand and company were founded in 2019 when the family's matriarch was diagnosed with cancer. The family of whiskey enthusiasts made Team Whiskey shirts for family and friends for support. The positive response from Team Whiskey was so overwhelming that the family knew their brand can unite people. The first batch of Team Whiskey bourbon was bottled in February of 2023 to great reviews. A portion of the Team Whiskey Bonanza's proceeds go toward cancer-oriented nonprofits.
