High Altitude Fitness is such a favorite in the community that they needed to open two locations. With nearly two decades of serving up workouts, High Altitude has succeeded in their mission to "provide a facility and an empowered staff that helps individuals and the community on their journey to health and wellness." Both state-of-the-art gyms are impressive in the indoor playground that they offer, yet each has its own specialty. The Truckee location is considered the largest indoor gym in the township with 27,000 square feet of exercise space split into a 12,000-square-foot climbing gym, more than 50 cardio machines, 10 Olympic weight lifting stations, a free weights room, kilter boards and three different group fitness studios. For those who are in the area often, High Altitude offers a fantastic membership that gives you full access to both locations for one price. You can't get much better than that.
