The holiday season is now in full swing here in Tahoe-Truckee, and it’s time to deck the halls and light up the towns in festive lights and cheer.
Winter in Tahoe-Truckee is a magical time. It's a short season where the landscape transforms into a winter wonderland, where you can walk out of your house and directly into a snowglobe. There’s something whimsical about a snow-covered landscape, festively lit buildings and houses, and locals and visitors bonding over skiing, sledding and sipping warm cocoa by the fireplace.
