As the crisp autumn air settles and the leaves change from greens to shades of goldenrod and rust, we’re reminded of the fragility of the seasons. Fall is a fleeting yet beautiful time of the year, when life seems to slow down between the high seasons of summer and winter. It’s a time to relax and recharge, indulge and enjoy the cozy things in life. It’s also a time to celebrate and mingle with the community.
Set amongst the towering pines and peaks, Tahoe-Truckee is the perfect place to celebrate the spooky season. Halloween events can be found around the region, and many of them are family-friendly so everyone can ring in the fall in style. Bring your best costume and get ready to celebrate Halloween under the Sierra sky.
Below, I have curated a list of events to help you make the spooky season memorable. Happy haunting!
