Śakti is the goddess responsible for creation, expansion and destruction of the universe. Śakti is the Yogin’s higher faculty of discernment and the “dynamic energies.” Shakti, meaning “Power” or “empowerment,” is the primordial cosmic energy and represents the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the entire universe.
