Sacred Smudge Sticks
Smudging is a ritual of burning plants for cleansing, ceremony, prayer, and healing. Sierra Valley's Aurora Wellise will cover the folklores, medicinal and magical qualities of a variety of plants, flowers, herbs and common weeds usable for smudging. The ceremony of burning smudge sticks can be a part of your daily routine that blurs the lines between sacred, secular and artistic balance. These notions will be a continuous part of the conversation.
Aurora will hold space for each student to grow in the cultivating of their own healing relationship with plants. Everyone will make their own uniquely beautiful and powerful smudge stick.
All supplies are provided by Aurora and Atelier. All plants are respectfully foraged for, grown by, collected by and selectively purchased by Aurora. All organic and unsprayed only for smudging!
