General Volunteer Orientation
The first step in becoming a new volunteer with HSTT is attending a general volunteer orientation. At the orientation you'll learn more about HSTT and the volunteer opportunities we have available. We allow children as young as 8yrs of age to volunteer as long as a parent/guardian is there to supervise the child. Teenagers 16/17yrs old may volunteer without a parent/guardian but certain conditions will apply.
You must RSVP to the orientation. You can either call our Volunteer and Humane Education Manager, Erin Ellis, at 530-582-2472 or email, erin@hstt.org. We do require a minimum of 5ppl to hold an orientation and a maximum of 25ppl.
When you arrive for orientation, please park behind the building and walk around to the front. Our front desk staff will direct you where to go once in the building.
