Truckee Library Seed Exchange
We have many non-GMO, heirloom varietals just waiting to be planted. Bring your extra seeds (labeled, please) to share or just join in the seed exchange.
A generous donation from an organic farm in Half Moon Bay provided the Truckee Library with many non-GMO, heirloom varietals of vegetables, herbs, and a few flowers, from a notable European source. We're sharing the wealth! Most varietals will grow here, with a few that might work only for those with greenhouses. We'd like to see these seeds reach their future garden homes in time to fill our community's salad plates. Bring any seeds you'd like to share with your neighbors, (labeled, please). During your visit, you can check out our many local gardening books for both adults and children.
