In Bill Morgan’s book, Morgan’s Tahoe, he tells over thirty intriguing stories of happenings at Tahoe in which he was involved from 1965 to 1989. That period was one of the most turbulent times in Tahoe’s history. As Forest Supervisor of the Lake Tahoe Management Unit of the U.S Forest Service followed by several years as Executive Director of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, he was caught up in the turbulence himself. His firsthand knowledge of those happenings has given him a unique perspective of Tahoe in those days. Most of these tales are little known by any except those who were involved themselves.
