Tahoe Herbivores Meet up: Thai Lunch and Hike at Fallen Leaf Lake

Event Description:
Join fellow herbivores for a great veg lunch at My Thai followed by a hike at Fallen Leaf Lake (a short drive from the restaurant). Anyone not interested in hiking is welcome to join for lunch only.
The hike's distance will depend on ground conditions and hikers' mutual aspirations. If abundant ice and/or deep snow is present, additional personal equipment like poles, crampons and/or snowshoes may be a good idea. (I'll try to scout the area shortly before the event and let you know what it's like.)
The suggested trailhead/starting point for the hike is at approximately 1675 Fallen Leaf Road, where a number of parking spaces are generally available on both sides of the road. We can caravan from the restaurant.
