Event Description: 

The Sierra State Parks Foundation is hosting a virtual fundraising auction beginning November 1st through December 3rd in support of the local CA State Parks in the Lake Tahoe–Donner Lake area. This fundraiser will support the foundation’s mission to support the parks through restoration projects and education programs.

In 2020, The Sierra State Parks Foundation returned over $400,000 to our parks to provide natural and cultural education opportunities, restore and repair historic landmarks, support park clean-up and bear education initiatives and much more to create welcoming park experiences for all.  

This event is an important fundraiser and ends just in time for holiday gift shopping. Items up for bid are unique items and exclusive experiences. Bid with an open heart and a fond memory of parks in mind.

The Sierra State Parks Foundation believes the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area California State Parks are unique treasures worthy of its support. The Foundation fund projects and programming that connects people with the rich natural resources and cultural heritage. Because of the Foundation’s work and advocacy, the valuable State Parks will continue to be places of inspiration and education for generations to come.
