While many focus their attention on the 8”-10” Kokanee Salmon?  Mile High Fishing is chasing around the trophy Lake Trout/Mackinaw.  Laker action is starting to really heat up now that we are passed the full moon cycle.  Fishing Was very inconsistent throughout the last week with on and off good fishing.  Now that we are passed that cycle expect both trolling and jigging to only get better.  We have been working the depth from 80’-130’ feet of water.  South Shore has been decent fishing on the Tahoe Keys shelf both trolling and jigging.  Jig a P-line fire tiger 3 oz jig early AM.  Work the depth inside out from 80’-200’ until you find the bite.  Trolling fast with Rapala’s from 60’-150’ of water.  Never troll in straight lines and be sure to vary your speed.  For those that want to chase the Kokanee for their rich red meat, work 60’-80’ with dodgers or flashers trailed by a wedding ring set up.  Be sure to tip that wedding ring with a piece of white corn.  For daily reports give us a call 530-541-5312
