Information Meeting: Art of Paris Trip
Find out more about a once-in-a-lifetime art and architecture trip to Paris, France with Lake Tahoe Community College Art Department co-chair and renown Western artist Phyllis Shafer as your guide! Get the details - come to a free informational meeting about the Art of Paris trip on Friday, January 26 at 5pm in Room F101 in the Fine Arts building on LTCC's campus. All are welcome!
Travel to Paris, France and study the art and architecture of one of the world’s great cities. From the Louvre Museum with its 25 miles of gallery walls to the soaring Gothic cathedral of Chartres with its celebrated stained glass windows, you will experience the layered stories and famous artworks of this majestic city and its environs. Enjoy 10 days of guided tours and talks, and learn to keep a sketchbook and journal to enhance your travel experience and create your own artwork later, no matter your level of skill.
