19th Annual 'Thin Air' Chili Cook Off
The ‘Thin Air’ Chili Cook Off is sponsored by the Kirkwood Community Association, features the region’s top chili makers, beer and wine tasting, live music provided by the Wesley Orsolic Band and a Kid’s Zone with face painting, games and arts and crafts (for a $10 entry fee). Purchase advance tickets on www.THEKCA.org or on the Village Plaza on the day of the event. Cash prizes will be awarded at 3:45 pm for Best Chili, Crowd Favorite and Best Booth. The net proceeds will benefit both the Kirkwood Volunteer Fire Department and the Kirkwood Rescue Avalanche Dog Foundation.
Chili, beer/wine tasting kits include a commemorative glass and cost $35 for adults over 21 years of age. Chili tasting kits without beer and wine tasting are $20.
