Life Drawing Series
SESSION ONE: Monday, January 15, 2018 4-6PM
Come draw from what is possibly the most intriguing subject matter: the body. This studio class, for people with a firm foundation in drawing skills, will consider the human form in its many curves and angles. We will start with very short poses to loosen up, then gradually settle in for longer poses. The focus will be on proportions and composition, as well as on creativity and expression in drawing from the model.
Participants should bring a lightweight easel, as well as their own drawing paper, (recommended minimum size 18” x 24”) board, clamps, drawing media (charcoal/pencil/ink/conté), stumps for blending and an eraser.
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING: (these items are available for sale at Atelier if needed)
